The BHPA supports free flight competitions through the BHPA Competitions Committee.

The Competitions Committee includes representatives of the hang gliding, paragliding, and accuracy competitions panels, and a representative of the BHPA Paramotor Competitions Club. The Competitions Committee is chaired by the Competitions Director, who is a member of the BHPA Executive Council.

Hang gliding, paragliding, and accuracy competitions panels, and the BHPA Paramotor Competitions Club are responsible for organising national championships in their particular disciplines, selecting national teams and overseeing all other competitions in their disciplines.

BHPA members can also enter their cross country flights in the appropriate National XC League Competition.

For further information about free flight competitions supported through the BHPA competitions committee, please visit the appropriate competition website. For convenience these are listed by discipline.
