Summary
Pilot took off in windy conditions and found the wind was stronger than expected and more off to the west than was ideal. Pilot had to apply increasing amount of speed bar to penetrate and eventually full bar to avoid being blown back over ridge. Summary
Glider overshot on launch inducing asymmetric collapse. Pilot continued to launch and the glider re-inflated with a small cravat. Pilot fell off the front of take-off inducing a 70% asymmetric collapse, which did not recover. The pilot managed to control his heading until the glider recovered and the pilot flew away safely.
