Summary
Pilot called 'Takeoff' and proceeded to reverse launch. Pilot got the glider under control and proceeded to take off. The glider was flying with the pilot about 1.5m off the ground when a Tandem pilot with passenger reversed launched his wing into the path of the flying pilot. The wings entangled and the flying pilot crashed onto the takeoff suffering minor scrapes.

Summary
Pilot took off for top to bottom flight but did not notice knot in B/C lines. Pilot tried to remove the knot by pulling on the lines but the glider entered a spiral dive at approx 20-30m above the trees. Glider caught trees and pilot landed heavily but unhurt.
