Glider service on glider less than one year old discovered extensive wear in the area of the stiffening rods on the upper surface, towards the leading edge. Fabric was completely torn in at least 12 locations. Glider had been through two SIV courses at Oludeniz where the abrasive take off surfaces are suspected to have caused the damage.

During a test deployment prior to a repack, pilot noticed that the inner container would not release the parachute despite the bight of lines locking the container having come free as expected.
