Whilst launching in light winds the passengers footwear (trainers) came off due to the pilots feet catching the passengers heels on the take off run. The passenger stopped running and during the subsequent fall he sustained the minor injuries.

Pilot encountered sink over a town and was unable to make the landing field. Pilot was forced to make an emergency landing by the side of a busy road. On approach the glider became caught on a lamp post suspending the pilot 1m above the ground.
