Glider came up unevenly due to uneven pressure on risers by student. Tow launch aborted but student twisted knee when turning to collapse glider.

On final approach pilot hit lift and decided to 360. He then hit sink and attempted to make initial approach and landing. Pilot landed heavily while in pendulum having turned tightly to make initial landing area.
