A gust caused the glider to lift - the pilot reacted by grabbing the gliders upright and his wife held the leading edge midway along its length. They noticed that the cross tube was badly bent.

The canopy inflated unevenly during launch. The student managed to correct this but the student was now 20 degrees off his intended heading. The canopy lines scraped some ski cables located to the left of launch. Student recovered normal flight .

Student misjudged distance from the hill and clipped a lump on it. Spevtator called emergency services, helicopter arrived although was not needed.

Student overcontrolled following tow release, student pushed out during a turn whilst low, glider stalled pilot impacted the ground.
