Pilot landed on skis and continued to ski at some speed. Pilot forgot about a drop off and was unable to clear the opposite lip despite a big flare. Pilot struck lip with knee and came to rest on slope.

Pilot lost too much height on approach as he had not taken into account the strength of the valley wind. Pilot landed 10m short of landing area and caught glider on a lamp post, narrowly avoiding buildings and cars.
