On turning to face his glider after landing a line became caught in the screw mechanism that holds the visor. Pilot discovered that the screw was a little slack but could still catch a line even after tightening as the mechanism and helmet are not flush.

Pilot spun glider at low level attempting to turn in a thermal. Pilot tried to throw parachute but violent surge prevented this. As the glider dived towards the ground it reinflated and became caught on a branch high in a tree. This resulted in the pilot skimming the ground and suffering only minor bruising.
