Whilst practicing ground handling the student was dragged across a nearby canopy. The hooks in the students boots snagged on the lines of this canopy causing damage to the lines.

During a top to bottom flight the student encountered sinking air whilst performing a left turn. With insufficient height to correct this the student was instructed via radio to flare. He landed fast and did a judo roll.

Pilot launched into light wind and flew over a densley wooded part of the hill. In his attempt to remain in the lift band he inadvertently flew into a tree, his canopy getting caught in the branches.
