The pilot became aware that he was catching another paraglider pilot also soaring in the same direction. He tried to over take the pilot on the cliff side but had insufficient room. The pilots wing collided with the leading pilots harness.

Paraglider pilot flying in strong conditions, was seen to fly downwind behind the ridge whilst low. The pilot reappeared almost upside down in his harness. He then flew downwind again and the canopy was seen to collapse. Pilot was uninjured.

Pilot flying coastal ridge misjudged wind strength and direction and was unable to fly back to his launch point. He attemptted to top land the cliff site but flew into turbulent air behind the ridge, causing his glider to drop.

Pilot launched into turbulent conditions resulting in the canopy pitching forward and backwards and finally entering a 180 degree spin. With insufficient height to recover the pilot impacted the hill.
