Whilst performing a reverse launch the pilot became airborne during his turn - he flew the canopy forward. At 15ft the canopy suffered an asymmetric collapse and turned into the hillside, the pilot had insufficient time to correct this.

Prior to tow launch, as tension came full the line the tow release partially failed resulting in the left bridle coming off with the tow line attached to the right bridle only. The launched was aborted when the pilot had reached 10ft. Landed ok.
