Pilot attempted to take off on a steep slope about 10m upwind of a wall. Strong wind and thermals contributed to loss of control of the glider whilst ground handling. Wing dragged pilot back up the slope and over the wall causing the injuries.

Pilot took off into lift and felt a very strong 'gust front'. Really strong and struggled to penetrate. Wing oscillating, active flying. The right side of the wing veered violently and without warning entered a fast spin. Pilot recovered but then went parachutal hitting the ground on his back from 6m.
