Student had been briefed for soaring and slope landing. After take-off, he turned right then weight shifted hard right and steered towards the hill. He was instructed to turn out from the hill (over the radio), but continued to fly towards the hill and connected, putting his hand out to stop himself.

Paramotor pilots were training in a NOTAM'd area and were thermalling with engines off. Military C130 passed between two pilots, apparently having not seen them. Pilots landed safely.

Pilot was under tow is slight crosswind. While applying corrective control the tension increased causing the glider to stall and rotate. Glider dived towards the ground, still under tension. Eventually tension was released and the glider regained near level flight. Pilot landed heavily. No weak link in system.
