Pilot suffered large deflation while on bar and at altitude while on XC. Glider entered cascade and despite 4 attempts to stall out, pilot ended up with large cravat. Pilot opted to deploy parachute as he could not guarantee being able to land safely. Parachute deployed but downplayed with glider. Pilot landed in trees uninjured.
