Whilst thermal soaring tha canopy entered a spin which the pilot didnt immediately recognise. The pilot countered the turn by braking the opposite wing causing the canopy to stall. With insufficient height for recovery the pilot threw his parachute.

Whilst tow launching the pilot attempted to correct his track by turning right. However, he did not maintain sufficient airspeed during this attempted turn, causing the left wing to stall. The glider drifted off course and impacted the ground.
