While ridge soaring pilot had mid-air with drone that caused damage to lines and cells in the centre of the wing. On colliding with the 25cm drone the glider pitched back and forward but then behaved normally allowing the pilot to top land safely.

On approach to landing the pilot did not recognise the light wind conditions, nor did they appreciate the extent to which the field sloped away in the direction of landing. This resulted in a long, ground effect glide across the field. Pilot flared hard but crashed into boundary hedge.

A recently qualified Club Pilot was on a downwind leg of a flight back towards the hill and noticed the that the number of gliders in the air had considerably increased. To avoid the area perceived to be congested, the pilot turned towards the hill and landed hard on the slope, sustaining injury.

The pilot attempted to top land in conditions described as strong and was seen to be "pinned" above the ridge having activated big ears, with zero groundspeed. The pilot was blown back into rotor and hit the ground.
