Hang glider had near miss with paraglider pilot while soaring. Hang glider pilot was able to avoid the collision but was unable to discuss with the paraglider pilot, who had left the site. Paraglider pilot was not a club member.

During a service on the BGD Punk (Gamma Colours), it was identified that the porosity was failing in only the Dark green colours. Other panels / colours were Excellent / Good. Several tests were completed across random dark green panels on the wing and were also failing (< 10s with Hello Porozit meter)

Knowing the wind had increased and changed direction significantly, the pilot decided to make one flying beat having been ground handling. On becoming airborne the pilot found the air to be very turbulent so turned to make a top landing. Pilot lost control of glider and landed heavily.
