Pilot accidentally spun his glider by applying too much brake, trying to avoid going too far back over the hill. Glider entered a cascade but pilot could not deploy his parachute as his hands were through his brake handles preventing him reaching the deployment handle. Pilot put hands up immediately and glider self-recovered a few metres above the ground. Pilot landed safely.

During exit from autorotation exercise, the glider dived and the pilot inadvertently released one brake as it was pulled out of his hand. The bowline above the brake handle and stopper knot on the brake line tag end were pulled through the ceramic ring. In straight and level flight, the pilot attempted to pull the handle down and was unable to as the bowline had jammed in the ceramic ring. Using both hands, he was able to free the handle again.

While test flying a glider the pilot found himself in a right hand turn. The pilot could not counter the turn and circled into the hillside. Pilot suspects he may have been flying too slow due to unfamiliarity with the glider.
