Pilot suffered 50% asymmetric collapse on exiting a thermal resulting in a cravat. Pilot attempted to release cravat but was drifting towards power lines. Pilot stalled glider into hill in avoiding the power lines. Pilot says SIV course helped deal with situation.

Pilot failed to put leg through leg loop one fastening new harness. Pilot took off and slipped down through harness to hang by arms. Pilot rotated into the hill having let go of one of the brakes due to it being twisted causing a weight shift turn.
