Pilot attempted to glide to the upwind side of a ridge to find a thermal but was hit by sink before getting over the ridge. This put the pilot on the lee side of the ridge. Pilot tried to escape but suffered 60%asymmetric collapse and was turned into the ground from about 15m.

Pilot ran out of landing area due to 'S' turn approach and tried to 'mush' glider in to land. Due to lack of airspeed the glider stalled from approx 5m. The pilot landed heavily on his back.

Pilot had not noticed wind change in direction and speed while approaching for top landing. Pilot had to use wing to jump fence but got caught on barbed wire before slipping on the other side of the fence and being dragged.

In gusty thermic conditions the pilot fastened his leg straps and turned to face his glider in order to prevent it from inflating. Pilot found he could not prevent it inflating and was lifted into the air and flipped upside down. Pilot banged head on the ground. Was assisted by another pilot.
