Pilot lost sight of another pilot in close proximity while thermalling. Lower point of Pilot's harness contacted upper surface of the other pilot's wing. Pilots moved apart and carried on flying.

Pilot suffered asymmetric collapse resulting in a cravat and spiral. Pilot could not recover from spiral so deployed parachute. Chute became entangled in main and did not open. Landed through trees unhurt. Pilot then slipped down slope and dislocated shoulder and knee.

On take off the foot stirrup release mechanise activated and pulled the parachute deployment handle out. Pilot carried out PLF and was uninjured. Pilot failed to check mechanism was properly fastened from previous release.
