Pilot narrowly avoided a midair collision while soaring in light conditions on a busy ridge.

While soaring on a busy ridge the pilot found himself in a situation where he had to take rapid evasive action to avoid a collision with another paraglider. Both pilots took avoiding action and narrowly missed a collision.

While ridge soaring at approx 25m AGL two gliders were heading in the same direction down the ridge. One slightly in front and lower than the other. At the end of the beat the lower, lead glider turned and was pushed out from the ridge by the terrain. The gliders narrowly missed each other.

After two attempts to take off in a cross wind the pilot managed to launch but had a knot in the upper lines of one side of the wing. Pilot managed to land safely using weight shift.

While on speedbar in sinking air between thermals glider had frontal collapsed then dived and rotated partially trapping pilot's hand. Pilot threw parachute immediately but could not disable canopy. Parachute was flying backwards and pilot landed hard on his back.

While soaring in crowded conditions, pilot had mid air collision with another paraglider. Both gliders suffered small asymmetric collapses but both recovered immediately and the pilots continued flying.
