Pilot attempted to launch was dragged and became tangled in the lines of his friends canopy and then became airborne with friends canopy wrapped around his head. Another pilot assisted in bringing him down.

Pilot did not fasten harness leg straps prior to launch. Held in harness by armpits, could not control the direction of the canopy accurately, this resulted in the pilot landing in a different field from the planned one.

Bruised median nerves. Reduced use of left arm for one week.

During launch the canopy started to drift to the right, the student failed to correct this and was soon airborne heading for a fence. The student failed to correct his flight path and impacted the fence.

Pilot launched into strong gusty conditions and was unable to penetrate forward. At about 30ft up the canopy suffered an asymetric tuck to the right causing a turn into the hill.

Three fractured vertebrae: Which ones not specified. Sprained left ankle.

Fractured and dislocated tibia and fibula above the ankle.
