Pilot encountered sink over a town and was unable to make the landing field. Pilot was forced to make an emergency landing by the side of a busy road. On approach the glider became caught on a lamp post suspending the pilot 1m above the ground.

Pilot suffered frontal collapse while thermalling close to the ridge in strong thermic conditions. Pilot was blown into the slope and glider caught in a small tree.

Pilot was attempting to make a slope landing but thought he was too low to clear a fence that ran down the slope across his path. Instead of turning away from the hill the pilot turned towards the hill and landed heavily.

Pilot noticed clip on harness chest buckle was not right as 'release button' had gone inside the buckle. Pilot adjusted the buckle but was able to pull buckle open with minimal force.
