Pilot decided to abort launch at the very last moment, by full application of control handles in order to stall wing. Could not stop and fell from front of the launch approx 5ft onto mountainside. Was assisted in collecting wing and climbing back onto launch.

Student lost altitude while ridge soaring and got too close to the trees. Pilot landed safely on slope having found gap in the trees. Glider became caught on trees but was undamaged.

Pilot flew through turbulent air while practising a competition task. Glider suffered a collapse while travelling at approx 80kph and became cravatted. Pilot deployed emergency parachute and deployment bag damaged prop, but landed safely.

Tow release failed to release on the top of tow, winch operator guillotined line, pilot landed safely with line attached. On inspection the release loop cord was located beyond the release pin attachedment eye, as the width of the pin attachemnt eye is wider than the pin the pin could not be pulled out when under load.

Nepalese Pilot took off while on an IPPI thermal training course. He flew for approximately ten minutes before being seen in a locked in spiral dive. The pilot did not recover from the spiral dive and crashed.
