Pilot "slowed glider down" in order to reduce glide on approach. Pilot then applied even more brake and eventually the glider stalled. Pilot fell from approx 10m onto the sand.

Pilot applied full speed bar while flying down to landing field in smooth conditions. Glider dropped quickly then suffered large asymmetric collapse turing pilot into the ground. Glider was found to have faulty speed system pulley arrangement allowing the bar to be pushed well beyond certified limits.

Pilot launched beside cliff to do some low level soaring. Gust pushed pilot into cliff and then on to top of cliff where pilot regained control of glider.
