While attempting to soar coastal cliffs the pilot began to sink out. He then flew on to an area where he hoped there would be lift but continued to descend. The pilot landed on a section of exposed rocky beach. The glider came down in the water and became entangled on the rocks. As the tide was coming in the pilot was forced to abandon the glider and recover it later in the day at low tide.

Pilot had mid-air collision with another paraglider while ridge soaring. The pilot found he could not turn right to take avoiding action as the two gliders in front of him both turned back along the ridge leaving him on a head on course with one of them.

Pilot attempted to reverse launch without first clearing his control lines. Pilot was lifted up out of control and with twisted risers. Glider turned along ridge and dumped pilot into rocks.
