Pilot had mid-air collision with another paraglider while thermalling. The pilot became entangled in the other glider and both pilots/gliders drifted into the hill landing heavily.

While flying into wind above the top of the hill and slightly behind a run-down building, the pilot swooped down behind the building, peaking just before the front edge of the building. At this point he turned, clipping the left wing tip on the building which sent him face first into the ground.

Student failed to control the paraglider post launch. He failed to steer the glider directly into wind, this resulted in the glider drifting to the left over a steeper section of terrain without sufficient ground clearance. Impacting the back of his legs and bruising his calf muscles.
