On aborting takeoff, pilot pulled hard on left control causing glider to spin. This swung the pilot towards the ground, unfortunately pilot hit a spikey limestone rock causing puncture to left leg.

After kiting glider back up the hill, pilot took of and leg strap came undone. Pilot pulled himself up and carried out gentle bottom landing.

Pilot was flying sea cliffs when Sea King helicopter passed within 400m. Pilot made emergency, cliff top landing in order to avoid any rotor turbulence from the helicopter.
