Pilot was seen to use excessive brake on approach to landing. This continued resulting in the pilot almost stalling and then spinning the glider and being swung into the ground with some force.

Whilst on a straight glide the pilot heard/felt a collapse and looked up to see legs dragging across the top of his canopy. They became tangled briefly until the other pilot pulled his leg away causing a rip to the leading edge fabric. The glider entered a cascade which was recovered when the pilot carried out a full stall. Both pilots carried on with their flights.

On finishing towing for the day (Koch winch) the operator discovered that the hook at the bottom of one of the guillotine springs had snapped at the point it is formed from the body of the spring.

Pilot took off at site that had temporary restriction due to an air display. Pilot landed and checked notams, realised error and packed up.

Pilot suffered a frontal collapse that resulted in twisted risers while flying leeside in a competition. Pilot deployed parachute and landed safely on the mountain. He was led off the mountain by mountain rescue.

During competition task the pilot was forced to slope land on an inaccessible area on a mountain. Helicopter was called and pilot was safely extracted.

Pilot suffered 50% + asymmetric collapse at low level. Collapse resulted in uncontrolled spiral so pilot deployed his emergency parachute. Pilot landed in a tree uninjured.

Pilot hit sink on approach to landing field but did not leave enough height. Glider hit an unused telephone cable that the pilot had not noticed as the poles were hidden by trees. Glider slid down over wires and pilot landed heavily on his back.

The pilot had been ridge soaring for about 25 mins. Instructor had briefed for soaring with the possibility of top landing if all was well. Pilot was instructed to gain more height before attempting to top land but then had 50% asymmetric collapse. Glider turned sharply and dived and pilot hit hill.
