Pilot took off and immediately noticed a pronounced 'right turn' in the wing. Unable to rectify the problem and concerned about the stability of the wing, the pilot deployed his parachute. Having landed safely the pilot discovered a knot in the upper lines on the right side of the glider. He also noticed that both brake lines had become severely twisted, despite having anti-twist swivels fitted. He suspects this may have contributed to the incident.
