Pilot was caught by strong thermic cycle while grouhdhandling causing swift body rotation leading to twisted knee and minor injury. Able to depower wing and regain control without getting dragged. Packed up and walked off hill.

Pilot misjudged approach and came in with insufficient height to make goal field and landed in a lake. Pilot was rescued with some difficulty by swimmers. Pilot was using 'pin' type hang-strap attachment to keel, rather than the more common carabiner type.

Pilot misjudged a turn which put him over trees. Pilot then hit sink and could not clear the trees so elected to land on top of them. Pilot landed with feet on the ground between the trees.
