During tow launch the pilot heard a thud followed by the glider pitching nose down. The pilot couldnt find his reserve parachute handle and impacted the ground heavily. He then discovered that his parachute had accidentally deployed during the launch.

During daily inspection the pilot discovered the nut attaching the cross tube to the leading edge was loose with the thread well worn.

The pilot became aware that he was catching another paraglider pilot also soaring in the same direction. He tried to over take the pilot on the cliff side but had insufficient room. The pilots wing collided with the leading pilots harness.

Whilst attempting to top land in gusty conditions the pilot flew the downwind leg with insufficient airspeed. This resulted in him having difficulty turning back into wind. The pilot landed cross wind on a road behind the landing area.

Paraglider pilot flying in strong conditions, was seen to fly downwind behind the ridge whilst low. The pilot reappeared almost upside down in his harness. He then flew downwind again and the canopy was seen to collapse. Pilot was uninjured.

Pilot experienced turbulence during his landing approach, resulting in a wing dropping and an upright breaking as it hit the ground.

Following launch the pilot was unable to assume the prone position in the harness. Upon later inspection he discovered that the internal harness chord had broken.
