Pilot applied full speedbar to prevent being blown back in strong wind. Once clear the pilot applied brake before releasing the speedbar. Pilot applied more brake to counter turbulence then glider stalled and rotated into the hill from approx 10m.

Pilot flew into a strong thermal and stalled glider in attempting to catch the dive. Glider then spun and pilot deployed his emergency parachute. Pilot landed in trees.

Pilot was attempting to top land in busy conditions when another pilot took off in front of him. Pilot ended up doing a 360 into the hill.

The pilot was seen to induce a spiral dive at about 1000ft above ground level, and maintained the spiral. At approx 300ft above ground level the pilot was seen to impact a second pilot and they rotated through 360 degrees before separating. The second landed safely and was uninjured (his wing was damaged). The first pilot continued his spiral to the ground and suffered fatal injuries..

Pilot had mid-air collision with a second pilot who had been 300m above but was in an uncontrolled spiral dive. The collision caused the pilot to spin, damaging his glider. The glider then collapsed but the pilot was able to recover and land safely. The second pilot continued to spiral until hitting the ground sustains fatal injuries.

Pilot had to take collision avoidance action while ridge soaring with the ridge to his right. Pilot was forced to turn right and top land downwind to avoid colliding with the other pilot.

Pilot was coastal soaring with four other pilots when they were caught out by coastal fog. The pilot attempted to fly along the cliff tops to avoid a collision, but without visibility, became disoriented. Pilot came out of fog low over a main road but was able to land safely.
