Batten trapped under the mylar leading edge caused severe turn in flight, pilot didnt realise until hed landed.

Following a tow release at 400ft the pilot initiated a 360 degree turn. Before completing the turn he realised that he was very low, and so tried to tighten the turn. The canopy left wingtip then stalled and the canopy spun into the ground.

Student applied too much control following launch, eased up after being instructed to do so, as he eased up the canopy pitched forward and the student impacted the slope.

During spiral dive at siv course, the D ring of the harness broke causing the pilot to weight shift into the dive exacerbating the manouevre. The pilot applied outside brake and recovered the situation.

Whilst practicing ground handling the student was dragged across a nearby canopy. The hooks in the students boots snagged on the lines of this canopy causing damage to the lines.

During a top to bottom flight the student encountered sinking air whilst performing a left turn. With insufficient height to correct this the student was instructed via radio to flare. He landed fast and did a judo roll.

Bruised right shoulder and back.

Pilot launched into light wind and flew over a densley wooded part of the hill. In his attempt to remain in the lift band he inadvertently flew into a tree, his canopy getting caught in the branches.
