Glider seen going from stable flight into wing-over maneuver which progressed into deep spiral dive, which pilot was unable to recover. Rapid loss of height resulting in impact to ground and adjacent power lines.

Pilot was flying along a ridge of trees and was halfway down heading to the cliffs beside a landing field. Turned around to line up landing and did another turn to make sure no overshoot. During the last turn pilot was forced into trees due to posible rotor.

Pilot attempted a turn at low level then applied excessive control causing the glider to spin. The glider recovered but entered a spiral dive and the pilot crashed heavily.

Pilot was preparing to launch. Just prior to connecting to the tow line, a gust of wind picked up the glider. The pilot turned to control the glider, but his foot got caught in the ground resulting in the fracture of the leg.

Pilot and passenger landed safely near to the top of the hill due to light winds. Not long after landing strong gust came through, wing tried to inflate but dragged both pilot and passenger along the top into a stone wall. Pilot tried but was unable to control wing.
