Pilot did not launch glider straight and subsequent gust lifted him and propelled him sideways while facing uphill. After a couple of second he came down heavily, damaging his knee and was then dragged a further 20-30m.

Pilot was caught out by increasing winds. Suffered frontal collapse while on half bar in attempt to get forward. recovered frontal with cravat and glider entered spiral. recovered but entered cascade so threw emergency chute landing heavily.
