After top landing in windy conditions the pilot turned to collapse the glider. At this point a gust came through and lifted the pilot slamming him into a parked 4x4 vehicle.

tape loop on 3 ring circus had become larks footed around tow ring and would not release. Winch cut line and pilot managed to undo larks foot and release. Able to replicate if slack allowed in system. Pilot changed tow release.

Pilot launched aware of rain clouds in near distance. On launching was lifted 50-70ft by gust and was unable to penetrate using bar and ears. Prepared for inevitable rotor landing and carried out plf falling from 20-25ft.
