A service centre discovered that the bridle on a Gin Gingo Airlite harness had been sewn into the seem of the harness during manufacture. The seam was unpicked and the bridle released, then the seam repaired.

The pilot's glider displayed parachutal (deep stall) characteristics throughout an SIV course. On the final full stall of the third run of the second day the glider exited with two small cravats. As the pilot turned towards the landing/shore the glider went in to parachutal (deep stall). The glider on this occasion recovered quickly but with the subsequent height loss the pilot only had enough height to do a down wind landing approach with one cravat/big ear still in. To turn into wind would have risked a further stall. As the pilot was running off his excess speed he fell fracturing his arm.

Pilot took off and noticed a brummell hook from his system had become detached and fallen inside his pod harness. Pilot continued to fly and landed safely. Pilot took off again and decided not to bother with the detached hook. He then noticed his foot place was out of position due to the hook not being attached.

Pilot launched into the light wind at sunset with near nil wind conditions and flew a circuit of the model plane airstrip and. While flying downwind at around 50ft the left trim slipped open sending the glider into a sharp steep spin into the ground.

Pilot landed due to SOS on flight instrument. On taking off again the pilot did not do a pre-flight check and found his right hand brake handle was looped through the C lines. Pilot was able to steer using brake line above the handle until clear of the hill and was then able to untangle the handle.
