Student made a good powered launch but had applied too much brake. Student was told to ease off the brakes a little but released them fully while letting off the throttle. Glider dived towards the ground and student impacted hard from 2m.

While flying his paramotor the bar holding the risers on one side fractured at the weld and came away. It was held by a safety strap but the strap was so long the glider entered a turn and then collapsed. The pilot landed on top of the motor but was unhurt.
