Pilot attempted to gain height to fly round to the front of the hill knowing the wind had gone off to the east. Pilot lost height and flew back to the ridge but encountered leeside turbulence. Pilot suffered asymmetric collapse which he recovered but then suffered full collapse and struck hillside.

Pilot walked down hill in windy conditions in order to launch in lighter winds. On flying towards the slope the pilot experienced severe sink and collided with the hill. The pilot was then lifted and dragged at an angle up the slope. Pilot landed heavily but was able to eventually control glider.

Pilot had cravat before take-off but decided to deal with it once the wing was inflated. However, strong winds lifted pilot immediately forcing pilot to stall in order to land. Pilot landed heavily but was unhurt.

Pilot suffered 60% collapse which resulted in a cravat. Pilot was able to pump cravat out and landed safely. Pilot stated that recent SIV course played a role in resolving the issue in a calm and efficient manner.
