Following a xc flight the pilot misjudged the wind direction which resulted in a downwind landing. The glider landed on its wheels then ground looped.

Whilst collapsing the canopy following landing a gust caused the canopy to inflate pulling the pilot up and backwards. The pilots helmet hit a fence and snagged as the rest of his body was pulled over the fence.

Following a soaring flight the pilot appraoched the top landing by making a downwind leg then turning into wind. On turning into wind the pilot realised his glider wasnt penetrating forward. At 20ft his canopy collapsed and he fell to the ground.
