Joining the BHPA

 

BHPA Membership

BHPA flying membership costs £77 annually and includes subscription to Skywings (the monthly magazine of the BHPA) and £2 million 3rd-party insurance cover. There are concessions for students in full time education, under 16s and over 60s. Further information is available on the BHPA Membership Application Form.

If you are a complete beginner don't worry too much about the details and various membership options. Your initial Training (£40) or One-day (£10) Membership will be processed by your by your training school. There is no need to join the BHPA before you start training. First see the Learn to Fly section and then find a BHPA training school that best addresses your needs. The school will explain and process your BHPA membership on your first days training.

If you are a fully qualified pilot (but not a BHPA member), want to join as a non-flying member, or require a subscription to Skywings only etc. see the Membership Form (in PDF format). Please return the completed form to the BHPA Head Office. Overseas customers please note the "Mailing Surcharge".
