In connection with the premiums under the multi and single trip travel policies the premium stated has to be three times the quoted amount plus IPT. i.e. the 10 day premium will be £45 + £7.88 IPT = £52.88. This premium is for hang gliding, paragliding and skydiving. Other types of aerial activities please refer.
Benefits include (dependent on policy)- Capital sum
in the event of death, loss of limb/eye (or use thereof) or total disablement.
- Weekly benefit
up to a maximum of 52 weeks (excl. first 28 days) so long as doctor certifies totally unable to follow normal occupation.
- Accidental ground risk and theft
within the UK, including 18 days worldwide. Short term cover available on request.
- Personal baggage
for travel insurance (excludes hang gliders, paragliders and other sports equipment whilst out of the UK).
- Medical expenses
covering medical or surgical treatment following hang gliding, paragliding or other sports accident or illness.
- Air Transport for repatriation
including medical attendants for seriously ill or injured insured person.
- Cost of recovery to hospital following a hang gliding, paragliding or other sports accident.
- 10% discount
for holiday groups organised through a BHPA (or other recognised national governing body) registered Club or School.
- Building/contents insurance.
- Car insurance.
